About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Harbour Healthcare Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the catering budget and oversee the purchasing and stock control of ingredients.
  • Develop and implement nutritious and high-quality menus that cater to the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Oversee the effective delivery of meal service, including the dining experience.
  • Work closely with the catering project lead to ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.
  • Coach and support other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Supervise and develop the catering team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Liaise with home managers to ensure effective delivery of catering services.
About You
  • You will have a background and formal training as a chef, with experience in front-of-house management.
  • You will be able to work within food safety standards and in an organized manner.
  • You will have a 'can-do' attitude, supporting the development of our services.
  • You will have strong computer skills and be articulate in writing reports and maintaining records.
  • You will be excited to work in a developing and fast-paced kitchen environment.
