About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Harbour Healthcare Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the catering budgets, purchasing, and stock control for our care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutritious and high-quality menus for residents, taking into account special dietary requirements.
  • Oversee the effective delivery of meal service, including the dining experience.
  • Manage catering teams, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and national guidance.
  • Liaise with Home Managers to ensure effective delivery of catering services.
  • Report to the Home Manager on site, supported by the Catering Project Lead.
About You
  • You will have a background and formal training as a Chef.
  • You will have experience in front of house management.
  • You will work within food safety standards and in an organized manner.
  • You will have a 'can do' attitude, supporting the development of our services.
  • You will have strong computer skills and be articulate in writing reports and maintaining records.
