Job Description

As a Lead Educational Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational environment at a vibrant secondary school in Swadlincote. Your primary responsibilities will include:




  • Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers
  • Ensuring students remain on task and follow the lesson plan
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
  • Providing support and guidance to students as needed


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • A positive and proactive attitude
