About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Southampton Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, happy, and stimulating for all children.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and relevant legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
