Nursery Room Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Nursery People, a trusted recruitment partner for leading childcare companies.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming, organised, and stimulating room environment that fosters the early experiences of young learners. This will involve providing interesting and engaging learning experiences, ensuring positive partnerships with parents and carers, and regularly reviewing and following children's care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement learning plans that cater to the age and stage of development of the children
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents and carers, ensuring a smooth daily collection process
  • Monitor and report on children's progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
  • Have previous experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Embody a culture of continual improvement, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
