About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse to join our team as a Junior Sister at the Neonatal Unit at Sunderland Royal Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Support junior staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  • Ensure the provision of effective nursing care and planning of family-integrated care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Current NMC Registration (RN / RSCN/ RN CHILD).
  • Degree in nursing studies or healthcare-related subject (UK equivalent) or evidence of currently working towards this.
  • Mentorship certificate/Practice Assessor training or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Management and leadership training.
