Staffline Branches is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with experience in food manufacturing environments and fast-paced production facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure all manufacturing plant, equipment, and facilities are in good working order.
  2. Carry out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  3. Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM) and carry out PPM schedules as necessary.
  4. Collaborate with visiting specialist engineers and report breakdown root cause, equipment faults, and concerns to the line manager.
  5. Perform troubleshooting to solve minor repair issues and make full use of the CMMS system.
  6. Plan and prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
  7. Assist in meeting daily production plans and fill in job tickets/CMMS on completion of work accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  2. Multi-skilled, electrical and mechanical.
  3. A relevant qualification, such as C&G Electrical & Mechanical.
  4. Excellent communication skills, across multiple departments.
  5. Team working and ability to prioritize tasks.
