About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Wright Staff. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all types of plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance: Assist in the development and implementation of planned preventative maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and report on equipment breakdowns and faults to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including production and quality, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in maintenance and repair of plant and equipment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
