Job Title: Railway Electrical Project Manager

Location: Kent & Sussex, UK

Contract Rate: £300-350/day with Van/Fuel Card - IR35 determination pending assessment

Contract Length: 8 month contract - likely extensions

Shift Times: 08:00am-16:00pm (survey shifts), 20:00pm-04:00am (night shifts)

Job Summary:

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support GSM-R battery replacements across the Kent / Sussex region.

As a Railway Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for initial surveys of sites, liaising between installation and design teams, and supervising/delivering battery replacements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initial site surveys to identify requirements
  • Liaise with installation and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Supervise and deliver GSM-R battery replacements
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Valid PTS card
  • Proven track record of delivering electrical projects in the railway industry

Estimated Salary: £54,000 - £64,000 per annum (£300-350/day)
