We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Egis Group, a global consulting and engineering firm working in construction, transport, and mobility services.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of electrical systems from a design or construction perspective, with experience in railway projects related to traction power, earthing, and bonding. This role will involve leading technical designs, overseeing drawing production, and completing detailed calculations to meet regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will also be proficient in the use of engineering software tools such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech, and have a basic understanding of AutoCAD or Revit for drawing production.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a minimum of £70,000 per annum, depending on level and experience. Benefits include 27 days' annual leave, an annual bonus, private medical insurance, life assurance, and training & development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake and lead full technical designs, design markups, and oversee drawing production for project delivery on electrical projects.
  2. Complete all relevant designs by completing detailed calculations to meet regulatory, industry, and business requirements.
  3. Detailed review of specialist supplier packages for compliance with project specifications and applicable industry standards.
  4. Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and certification of electrical services is beneficial.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Services Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Experience in electrical project engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems from a design or construction perspective.
