Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinician to join our Lower Limb Therapy Service and Well Leg Service as a Nurse Specialist (Band 6). The successful candidate will have a passion for Leg Ulcer management and excellent leadership skills to support the team.

The post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound assessment, prevention, and treatment skills around care of leg ulcers, working closely with the Advanced Nurse Specialist (LLTS), Community Nurse Team Managers, and other members of the Community Services Division to deliver safe and effective care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly across various clinic settings in Exeter, Mid, and East Devon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive wound assessment, prevention, and treatment skills around care of leg ulcers
  • Work closely with the Advanced Nurse Specialist (LLTS), Community Nurse Team Managers, and other members of the Community Services Division to deliver safe and effective care
  • Support the Advance Nurse Specialist in undertaking research activities and clinical audits in Community Lower Limb Therapy and Well Leg service team
