Job Title: Business Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Assistant to join our team at Spen Valley High School. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide essential support to our staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to our staff, including preparing documents, managing emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with the coordination of events, meetings, and projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with our students, staff, and parents, providing a positive and supportive environment.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to manage tasks, communicate with stakeholders, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective administrative practices.
Requirements:
  • Maths and English GCSE grade C/4 or above.
  • Business Admin Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of SIMS or willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
