About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Regulations Designer to join our architecture studio in Oval on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawing packages, working closely with internal teams to ensure success, and collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of UK Building Regulations and their application in residential architecture.
  • Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and specifications for residential extension and renovation projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery, meeting quality, speed, and cost targets.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to maintain expertise and provide innovative solutions.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Building Regulations Designer with a strong background in residential architecture, Revit drafting, and UK building regulations. You will have a good understanding of drainage, structural engineering, and construction methodology, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
