About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurologist to join our team at Northampton General Hospital. As a Consultant Neurologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our neurology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with neurological conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct research and audits to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
  • Supervise and educate junior staff, including medical students and junior doctors
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development

Requirements

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council
  • Relevant specialty degree qualification and completion of Specialty Training (CST or equivalent)
  • Experience of audit and quality improvement, teaching, and leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
