Teaching Opportunity: Carpentry and Multi-Skills

We are currently recruiting a Lecturer in Carpentry and Multi-Skills to join our Further Education team. As a Lecturer, you will teach carpentry and multi-skills courses to Further Education students and work closely with Senior Lecturers and the Head of Department to deliver world-class programmes.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching carpentry or be an experienced carpenter looking for a new challenge. Our School of Engineering, Digital and Sustainable Construction, in partnership with The University of Warwick, offers cutting-edge facilities and resources in the heart of Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taught carpentry and multi-skills courses to Further Education students
  • Developed and implemented innovative teaching methods
  • Collaborated with colleagues to achieve high-quality student outcomes
Compensation Package:
  • £34,866 - £42,632 per annum
  • Generous annual leave allocation (38 days paid leave per year + 12 Bank Holidays & Concessionary Days)
