Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the delivery of IT programmes of work, including stakeholder liaison, project leadership, management, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
  2. Manage third-party supplier delivery of application remediation and migration.
  3. Coordinate and control third-party supplier delivery of WAN, LAN, and telephony platforms.
  4. Manage 3rd party hosted solutions.
  5. Design and deliver desktop solutions as part of any location change.
  6. Integrate services across pan-European group businesses.
Solution Development and Delivery:
  1. Assist in providing technical direction for delivery and integration of major technical projects.
  2. Apply knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve delivery of new services.
  3. Recognize system deficiencies during the delivery process and implement effective solutions.
Technical Effort Management:
  1. Create and execute design and delivery plans.
  2. Ensure responsible project resources are informed of the status of delivery effort.
  3. Manage technical teams and contribute to process and standards library.
  4. Own the delivery lifecycle and manage technical risks.
  5. Communicate and enforce standards.
  6. Perform design reviews and mentor team members.
  7. Manage technical resources within budget and project schedule.
Leadership:
  1. Challenges others to develop as leaders.
  2. Manage team development and ensure project tasks align with team members' career interests.
  3. Inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.

  2. Hold regular status meetings with project delivery teams.
  3. Keep technical and stakeholder teams informed of changes.
  4. Deliver engaging presentations.
  5. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  1. Higher Education qualification in IT/Management or work-based experience.
  2. Ideal Project delivery qualification (Prince2).
