Cybersecurity Solutions Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Cyber Portfolio team at Triumph Consultants Ltd. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the successful delivery of cybersecurity projects and initiatives by analysing business needs, developing solutions, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £60,000 - £80,000 based on industry standards and market trends.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, coupled with a keen understanding of cybersecurity concepts, risks, and technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
  2. Analyse and map business processes to identify gaps and propose improvements.
  3. Design and evaluate cybersecurity solutions that meet business needs and industry standards.
  4. Maintain traceability matrices to ensure all project requirements are addressed.
  5. Act as a liaison between business units, cybersecurity teams, and IT to ensure alignment.
  6. Identify and assess cybersecurity risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  7. Support project managers in planning, monitoring, and reporting on cybersecurity initiatives.
  8. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to engage stakeholders and share updates.
  9. Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and lessons learned.
  10. Ensure cybersecurity initiatives align with organisational goals and strategic objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a cybersecurity or IT-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working on projects involving cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, BPMN).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and SOC 2.
