Assistant Shop Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at The Children's Society's Exmouth Shop. As a key member of our shop team, you will play a vital role in driving sales and profits, while providing exceptional customer service and supporting the Shop Manager in leading the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Shop Manager in leading the shop team and achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Support the Shop Manager in managing stock, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and safe shop environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the Shop Manager to identify and address any issues or concerns, ensuring the smooth operation of the shop.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and sales strategies.
