Job Title: Assistant Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at The Children's Society in Exmouth. As a key member of our shop team, you will play a vital role in driving sales and profits, while providing exceptional customer service and supporting the Shop Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop.

About the Role:
  • Assist the Shop Manager in achieving sales and profit targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Support the Shop Manager in managing the shop's operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and staff supervision
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
  • Work closely with the Shop Manager to identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact the shop's performance

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
