Role Overview

At Alzheimer's Society, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dementia Adviser to join our team in North Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by dementia.

About the Role
This 21-hour contract will see you working with people getting a diagnosis or worried about their memory, providing expert advice and support to both the individual and their carer. You will work closely with GPs, Memory Service, Weston General Hospital, other Dementia Advisers, and organisations who refer to the North Somerset Dementia Adviser service.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have an awareness of dementia and its impact, be compassionate and determined to make a difference. You should also possess computer skills, be organised and a team player, and be person-centred and compassionate. With a strong focus on inclusion, we strive to build a diverse organisation that represents the communities we serve.

Salary Details
The estimated annual salary for this role is £26,000 - £31,000, depending on experience.
