Job Title: Care Training Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Care Training Specialist to join our team at Greensleeves Care. As a Care Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering mandatory training to staff across the Trust, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and other required training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mandatory training, compliance, and required training at all allocated homes.
  • Assist in the design of mandatory, compliance, and required training sessions as required.
  • Attend training events as necessary.
  • Support maintaining the Trust's training KPIs, liaising with homes and proactively following up failures to meet identified KPIs.
  • Assist the Learning and Development Manager in drawing up an annual Training & Development plan for each allocated home.
  • Contribute to divisional reports where required.
  • Carry out frequent travel nationwide.

Requirements:

  • GCSE English Language (or equivalent)
  • GCSE Maths (or equivalent)
  • PTTLS L3 or equivalent training qualification
  • L3 NVQ/QCF Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Substantial experience of working as a trainer in social care
  • Proven track record in facilitating and delivering high-quality training.
  • Understanding of the Health and Social Care training agenda
  • Knowledge of the care sector, and in particular, elderly residential care
