Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

Mentus Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in an adult Psychiatric Hospital near Norwich.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in our 50-bedded psychiatric hospital. The hospital provides specialized care for men and women aged 18 and above who are struggling with severe mental distress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long-term service users, ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times, adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
  • Be competent and confident in managing people with long-term health conditions, prioritizing their needs and providing effective interventions.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for service users with complex needs, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Prioritize health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in urgent or emergency situations.
  • Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid NMC Pin.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in an Acute Mental Health Setting.
What We Offer:
  • Hourly rates of pay from £20 per hour, paying up to £25 per hour depending on band and experience.
  • 12-hour shift patterns, working approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Weekend, evening, and night shifts available.
  • Overtime available.
