Theatre Practitioner Role

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our theatre team at Spire Leicester. As a Theatre Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons in the operating theatre.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist patients undergoing elective procedures
- Prepare patients for surgery and provide reassurance
- Review patient charts and confirm data
- Ensure medical equipment is available and follow surgeon's directions
- Pass medical equipment to the surgeon and monitor patient condition during surgery
Working Arrangements:
Hours: Monday - Saturday between 07.30 - 20.00
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner
- Previous orthopaedic experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience working in teams and with minimal supervision
- HCPC or NMC registration
