Advanced Mental Health Intervention Mentor

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Mental Health Mentor to join our team at UMO. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with students who have been referred via the DSA, providing expert mental health support and guidance.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will be an accredited mental health practitioner with extensive experience working with young people or adults with mental health conditions. You will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of disability equality, and a commitment to professional service development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized mental health plans for students
- Monitor students' progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- At least 1 year's post-qualifying experience in mental health intervention
- Familiarity with a multi-cultural perspective and experience working with ethnic minority communities
- Interest in contributing to professional service development
This role offers a competitive salary of £27.00 per hour, paid holidays, clinical support, and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). Successful candidates must be willing to commit to at least 25 hours per week during term time.
