Child Mental Health Mentor

We are looking for a Child Mental Health Mentor to join our team at Philosophy Education. As a Child Mental Health Mentor, you will work with pupils in Camden primary and SEND schools who require full-time support due to their SEMH, SEN including ASD needs.
You will work with pupils on a 1-to-1 basis, providing support in classrooms, specialist mentoring sessions, and during break times. Some pupils may display challenging behaviour, but schools will provide training in suitable interventions.
As part of the child's support team, you will work closely with the school's SENCO, senior management, and outside agencies, including therapists, healthcare professionals, and CAMHS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-to-1 support to pupils with SEMH, SEN including ASD needs
- Work with pupils in classrooms, specialist mentoring sessions, and during break times
- Collaborate with the school's SENCO, senior management, and outside agencies
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a Psychology Graduate
- Have experience in CAMHS / child mental health services
- Be passionate about supporting children with SEND / SEMH needs
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
