Senior Project Manager

The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our European Operational Technology team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex power infrastructure projects for our utility customers in the energy generation, transmission, and distribution industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute project plans that align with organizational objectives and contractual commitments.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure precise management and accountability.
- Communicate project progress, milestones, and challenges to executives and project sponsors.
- Establish and enforce project governance standards and procedures to ensure formal closure of the project.
- Guide, mentor, and inspire diverse project teams within a matrix organization.
- Cultivate and exemplify a strong business acumen within the team.
- Deploy strategic, project-tailored approaches to risk management.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function.
- Elevate customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the power utilities industry with depth knowledge of the power infrastructure in at least two of the following areas: generation, transmission, and distribution.
- PMP or relevant project management certification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional proficiency in customer interaction and adept problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen sense of business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multiple complex program engagements.
- Proven record managing multicultural technical teams within a matrix-based organization.
- Extensive experience in the software or process within the utilities industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to providing superior customer service.
- Excellent English verbal and writing skills; a second language is advantageous.
- Regional travel at least 25% of the time.
