Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - RGN
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient health and wellbeing, delivering high-quality care, and promoting best practices in health and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
- Deliver high-quality care to meet individual health and wellbeing needs
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information
- Develop own knowledge and skills, as well as those of others
- Promote best practices in health and safety and security
- Assist in maintaining and developing services
- Contribute to quality improvement
- Promote people's equality, diversity, and rights
- Work autonomously with minimum supervision
- Apply clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
Requirements:
- Successful experience working in teams
- Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge
- Possession of training requirements, including infection control and health and safety competencies
- Demonstration of principles of accountable practice
- Passion for customers
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Effective interpersonal communication and influencing skills
- Strong business acumen, as well as the ability to plan and maintain organisation
- Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and regulation
- Empathy for vulnerable and sick patients
