We are seeking an experienced Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team at Medacs, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out comprehensive assessments of patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide guidance on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects and academic initiatives.
- Provide education and training to junior doctors and medical students.
- MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent.
- Hold CCT or CESR at the time of interview or in an established training programme and within six months of CCT.
- Inclusion on GMC's Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT or CESR (CP) at interview.
- 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
