Job Description

At Amazon UK Services Ltd., we prioritize the safety of our people above all else. As a Safety Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with managers, associates, and local governments to ensure our workplaces are safe and compliant.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety strategies: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute effective health and safety plans that drive positive change.
  • Conduct site assessments and audits: Regularly assess sites to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Analyse data and trends: Examine safety metrics and incident reports to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Provide training and support: Deliver training sessions to help colleagues understand and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a professional with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of UK Environment, Health and Safety legislation.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a competitive compensation package.
