We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. As a specialist in this field, you will work closely with children and young people who have significant and profound disabilities, providing support and guidance to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the needs of children and young people with disabilities, identifying areas where specialist intervention is required.
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of children and young people, working closely with families and other professionals.
- Conduct home visits, school visits, and community visits to assess the needs of children and young people, using suitable methods to communicate with them.
- Collaborate with health, education, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of children and young people.
We are looking for a Social Worker with a strong background in working with children and young people with disabilities. You will have a Social Work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and have experience in safeguarding and working with vulnerable populations.
You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.
