Anderson Wright Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Pressure Systems NDT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspections in accordance with relevant procedures and to the required standard. They will be undertaking NDT inspections on a wide variety of pressure equipment, interpreting and evaluating test results in accordance with applicable standards, codes or specifications. In addition, they will be responsible for carrying out all relevant equipment checks and calibrations as required by the standard or test procedures. The role requires working to international standards, ensuring requirements within them are met. The candidate will also be responsible for collecting, collating and reporting with sketches, where applicable, the result of the NDT examination. Furthermore, they will be expected to present typed reports containing all relevant information in a factual, comprehensive and unambiguous manner. To maintain all records, standards, procedures, notes and log books in an orderly, efficient manner and have them available for audit. We are looking for an individual with experience in Ultra Sonic (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI). The ideal candidate will hold PCN level 2 in UT and PCN level 2 in MPI + DPI. PCN 3.1 and 3.2 experience in UT inspections is also required. Other desirable skills include experience in Eddy Current and PAUT, CSWIP qual alongside a PCN level 2's, and experience in UT inspections PCN 3.8 and 3.9. The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of £42,500, potentially more if all experience is exceeded. They will also receive a car allowance of £5250, double contributory pension, yearly review, progression opportunities, bespoke training programme, the opportunity to cross skill and development opportunities, discretionary annual company bonus and yearly salary review. A 40 hour work week, laptop and mobile phone will also be provided. The support of a superb employee assistance programme will also be available.
