Global Reward Director

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Global Reward Director to join a leading player in the B2B food commodities industry with over 20,000 employees across the globe. The role is based in the West End of London and will have a full RoW geographic remit.
Key Responsibilities- Compensation Data Analysis: Manage compensation data analysis and monitor the competitiveness of compensation plans. Work with local HR to ensure legal compliance where necessary.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, including salary data, bonus structures, and benefits offered by competitors.
- Commercial Thinking: Apply commercial thinking and understanding of the business and HR, to provide pragmatic and informed solutions and ideas that meet both the business needs and fit with the HR agenda.
- Internal Consulting: Act as an 'Internal Consultant' in order to establish efficient compensation processes that align global initiatives with local practice.
- Learning and Development: Identify opportunities for and deliver learning to develop the knowledge and understanding of HR colleagues and people managers.
- Job Evaluation: Manage the job evaluation / job sizing process and job pricing through a number of databases.
- Budgeting and Vendor Management: Support the budgeting process for reward programmes where required and partner with vendors for management of reward programmes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Communication: Communicate effectively with employees about their compensation packages and answer any questions they may have.
- Global Projects: Support other projects on the Total Rewards agenda at a global level.
A successful Global Reward Director could have the following experience / attributes:
- Continuous Improvement: A focus on continuous improvement.
- C-Suite Experience: The ability to work 'up' to the C-Suite as well as more junior colleagues.
- Global MNC Experience: Experience working within a global MNC with a Matrix structure.
- Workforce Experience: Experience working with both 'exec' white collar workforce as well as lower paid / blue collar employees.
- Ambiguity Tolerance: An ability to deal with ambiguity and being a self-directed person given when firm is in company structure development.
- Detail-Oriented: Happy to roll sleeves up and be involved in the real detail as well as the strategic side.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary dependent on skills and experience but targeted at those at 'Senior' 10-20 years of experience level.
