Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Wake Night Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Wake Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical, hands-on care and support to individuals with complex health needs, including support with PEG feeds, suctioning, and epilepsy.
- Support individuals with profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex healthcare needs.
- Work collaboratively with a small team to provide overnight support for up to 3 individuals at a time.
- Support individuals during the day for 24-hour stays or for those attending a day-time learning and development program.
- Maintain accurate records of individual's care and support plans.
Requirements:
- Experience of supporting individuals with complex health needs and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of individuals.
