Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Contractual Services Manager to join our team at PSR Solutions. As a key member of our procurement and contract management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects across various sectors, with a focus on civil engineering and water management.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering and contracts management, with a proven track record of achieving project milestones and budgets. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will be working closely with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project progression on site, daily, to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Assess the quality and progress of sub-contractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Oversee performance against project contracts and programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Provide regular reporting to company stakeholders on project performance, highlighting successes and challenges.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will require significant experience in civil engineering and contracts management, with a deep understanding of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, program and risk management, and cost control.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering and contracts management.
  • Strong knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Able to motivate and lead teams to achieve project goals.

Salary: The salary range for this position is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
