A leading Regional Main Contractor has an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate level Planner to join their pre-development team on a permanent basis in Cambridgeshire. As a skilled Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across various sectors.

The company carries out new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, leisure, retail, industrial, defence, heritage, and housing. They are looking for an Intermediate Planner that has a minimum of 5 years' experience working for a reputable Main Contractor, ideally on a range of projects in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing programmes and planning information for tenders and live projects
  • Liaising with site teams and assisting in the production of amended programmes
  • Preparing 3D site logistic plans using Trimble Sketch-Up
  • Managing project timelines and coordinating with stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years' experience working for a reputable Main Contractor, ideally on a range of projects in various sectors. You must be degree qualified or possess other construction qualifications, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working for a reputable main contractor
  • Proficient in ASTA Powerproject, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Trimble Sketch-Up
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders
