Planning Development Coordinator

Lanpro is an independent and forward-thinking consultancy providing exceptional planning, design, and environmental services across the UK. We're looking for a driven Planner to support our growth and deliver excellence in new infrastructure projects.
About the Role
You'll provide day-to-day support to our planning team on applications and projects, developing core competencies and technical skills under the guidance of colleagues. Key responsibilities include managing project budgets, interpreting financial success, and executing major projects with complex features. You'll also involve drafting and managing planning applications, pre-application enquiries, and appeals.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should be a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute or working towards it. At least one year's experience in the planning industry, either public or private sectors, is essential. Project management skills and strong report writing skills are highly valued, as well as a good understanding of the UK planning process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, allowing them to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
