Manufacturing Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team at GLASDON LTD. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a large operations team, comprising production, warehouse, purchasing, stock control, and transport functions.
- Develop, train, and performance-manage over 100 employees, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, driving process improvements and optimisation to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Manage capital expenditure, plant development, and a continuous improvement system, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Champion 'Quality by Design', collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality excellence.
- Personal involvement in inbound and outbound international logistics, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
- Proven experience in an operational leadership role within a manufacturing or product assembly environment.
- Strong understanding of various manufacturing and assembly processes, as well as supply chain management.
- Excellent management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a 'can-do' attitude and hands-on approach.
- Familiarity with commercial IT systems and a drive to deploy corrective actions.
- Drive, determination, and self-confidence in commercial abilities.
