Job OverviewJoin our team as we seek an exceptional leader to oversee the Conference and Banqueting department at The Delta Hotels By Marriott Tudor Park Country Club. Nestled in the picturesque Kent Countryside, this hotel offers a serene environment for business and leisure travelers alike.
About the Role- Recruit, manage, train, and develop a high-performing conference and banqueting team
- Work within budgeted guidelines for payroll and consumables
- Accountable for monthly liquor stock takes
- Compile weekly rotas to reflect business levels and align with budgets
- Deliver exceptional events, ensuring all guests' requests are actioned and delivered seamlessly
- Establish strong relationships between Sales and Operations teams, supporting client show rounds and final details meetings
- Attend daily and weekly operations meetings to ensure the team is up-to-date on event details
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
Our ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in a similar role within a hotel or events environment.
