About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our team at Page Personnel. As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our client's financial services organization meets all regulatory requirements and maintains a strong compliance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FCA regulations and other relevant laws.
  • Conduct research and analysis on compliance topics to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the testing and operation of internal controls to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Support the team in responding to risk incidents and breaches by conducting internal reviews and audits.
  • Monitor and review quality control audit checks on other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Compliance-related qualifications, such as a degree in law or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, COBS, GDPR, and Consumer Duty.
  • High level of existing regulatory knowledge within the financial services industry.
  • Experience in compliance roles within financial services organizations.
  • Experience in quality control or internal audit is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
