About the Role

Study Group, a leading international education provider, is seeking an Academic and Quality Director to join its team in London. As a key member of the campus management team, you will provide academic leadership for the delivery of franchised Taught courses and Study Group's pathway courses.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate qualification in a relevant discipline, fellowship of AdvanceHE, and a track record of successful academic leadership and management. Experience of teaching in UK higher education, leading innovation, and facilitating change is also essential.

You will be responsible for implementing continuous improvements to enable the campus to achieve aspirational targets for student outcomes and contractual targets for student progression. This will involve undertaking curriculum planning and staff resourcing requirements, contributing to meetings, forums, or projects within the Study Group network, and reviewing student outcomes and feedback to identify opportunities and areas for development.

The salary for this role is up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and experienced academic leader looking for a new challenge, please apply.

About You

  • Doctorate qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Fellowship of AdvanceHE or to be achieved within 12 months of appointment
  • Track record of successful academic leadership and management and ideally experience in an international environment
  • Experience of teaching in UK higher education
  • Experience of leading innovation and facilitating change
  • Experience of teaching international students
  • Experience of planning and running complex education courses and programmes
  • Experience of partnership working or partnership management in the education sector
  • Evidence of output of high quality research publications
