About the Role

This position is part of our Credit Management Department, which handles activities related to the collection of unpaid energy bills (domestic & business) and other companies within the Ecotricity Group.

Reporting to the Head of Debt Information and Risk, this technical role will require you to design, scope, develop and deliver data solutions to meet the requests of stakeholders, while seeking opportunities to improve data insight.

About You

You will be an experienced data analyst with a proven track record in BI, data manipulation and problem solving. You'll have experience in building relationships and mentoring junior members of a team.

  • Ability to manage high quantities of data and make good and timely decisions.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis (MS-SQL/Databricks - T-SQL, View and table design, Experience of ETL)
  • Strong technical analytical skills as a Data Analyst
  • Managing and manipulating data experience
  • Stakeholder management and facilitation of decisions of all sizes
  • Strong presentation skills for engaging senior stakeholders
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations
Essential Skills
  • Writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation across multiple tables / data sources.
  • Selected candidates will undergo a practical SQL test to assess proficiency. At a minimum applicants will require a comprehensive understanding of query Joins and its application within SQL queries.
