Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Marine engineering design/delivery team as a system lead in an exciting phase of the project. This is a great opportunity to work on the setting to work and commissioning stage of HMS Glasgow and contribute to the development of the design for future ships in the T26 class.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out specialist technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical solutions.
- Support the Technical Authority as the specialist point of contact/System Lead with customers and/or suppliers in assigned areas on engineering matters.
- Take ownership of scope within your role and make engineering decisions within your sphere of responsibility.
- Carry out investigations into operational problems/emergent issues and develop and prepare solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in functional design, integration and build of fluid systems.
- Experience in Marine Engineering or similar highly regulated industry sector.
