Job Title: Technical Lead for Combat Systems Integration

The BAE Systems team responsible for physically integrating the Combat Systems into the design is looking for a skilled Technical Lead to support the combat systems team through the Zonal Review process. As a key member of this team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills & knowledge while further developing them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and support across the Combat Systems teams
  • Maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to a team-based working environment and deputise for the Engineering Manager when required
  • Identify and prioritise tasks towards an agreed overall objective
  • Innovate to minimise project risk and maximise the likelihood of successful implementation

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Understanding and experience with physical integration of complex projects
  • Significant experience in physical and functional integration of combat systems within a naval environment
  • Knowledge of system engineering design lifecycle within a naval environment

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Acted as a SME within a combat systems complex integration project
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment using SME knowledge to solve challenges

About the Role:
This role requires a strong understanding of system engineering design lifecycle within a naval environment. You will be part of a team responsible for physically integrating the Combat Systems into the design. The salary for this role is up to £52,300 depending on skills and experience.
