Job Title: Senior Engineer for Naval Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team responsible for physically integrating the Combat Systems into the design. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the combat systems team through the Zonal Review process. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge while contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and support across the Combat Systems teams
  • Maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to a team-based working environment and deputise for the Engineering Manager when required
  • Identify and prioritise tasks towards an agreed overall objective
  • Innovate to minimise project risk and maximise the likelihood of successful implementation

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Understanding and experience with physical integration of complex projects
  • Significant experience in physical and functional integration of combat systems within a naval environment
  • Knowledge of system engineering design lifecycle within a naval environment

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Acted as a SME within a combat systems complex integration project
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment using SME knowledge to solve challenges

About the Role:
This role requires a strong understanding of system engineering design lifecycle within a naval environment. The salary for this role is up to £52,300 depending on skills and experience.
