SS&C GlobeOp is a leading global provider of investment, financial services, and software solutions for the financial services and healthcare industries.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team in EMEA (UK and Mainland Europe focused). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and winning new business opportunities in the hedge fund, managed account, and Fund of Hedge Fund Administration space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients with a focus on profitable new revenue generation
- Identify and win new business by targeting both new fund launches and established funds across the hedge fund space
- Take ownership of the sales process and lead commercial negotiations in line with internally agreed parameters
- Help build the firm's brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leads
- Attend industry events and participate in thought leadership initiatives
- Develop and manage the financial intermediary and third-party services provider network
Competencies:
- A self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous sales experience and exposure to Fund Administration
- Confidence in approaching new customers and building relationships
- A real passion for open-ended fund structures, market trends, and regulations
Salary Estimate: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience
