Job Description
The successful candidate will work as part of a growing team to provide technical application support and system administration for our LIMS. This role requires a flexible attitude and ability to prioritize workload. The ideal candidate will have experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Key responsibilities include providing day-to-day administration and technical support of Pathology IT Systems, escalating issues to senior members of the team as required. Additionally, they will assist and monitor quality assurance activities in Pathology IT and produce documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess an IT or Biomedical Science related BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent experience. Essential skills include experience of using the CliniSys WinPath system or similar LIMS, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and ability to analyze, interpret, and present pathology-related complex data/results/concepts. Desirable qualifications include HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist and experience in providing IT technical support to users. We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
