Job Title: Manufacturing Site Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Manufacturing Site Director to lead our teams in producing veterinary pharmaceutical products to the highest standards for global distribution. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving performance and embedding a continuous improvement culture in our manufacturing suites.

You will ensure that all customer orders are delivered on time, adhering to our Norbrook Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety system. Your primary objective is to guarantee that our products are manufactured compliantly and meet regulatory authority standards globally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead high-performing teams in one of our 3 manufacturing sites in Newry.
  • Drive a safety culture and maintain the highest level of safety standards.
  • Embed continuous improvement and quality mindset within the team.
  • Coach and mentor team members to drive high standards of performance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Ensure Customer requirements are exceeded through effective coordination and planning of the manufacturing schedule.
  • Identify process improvements to maximise output and efficiency of the facility.
  • Partner with other site leads to ensure consistent change implementation across sites.

Requirements:

  • A degree or third-level qualification in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or at least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a management role, directly managing managers who individually manage teams.
  • Experience and understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory, quality, and validation requirements.
