Clinical Development Fellow in Intensive Care Medicine and Transfer Service

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Development Fellow to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust, providing critical care transfer services across London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the secure, reliable, and compassionate transfer of critically ill patients.
Main Duties
- Collaborate with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, London integrated commissioning boards, and critical care networks to provide a transfer service for critically ill patients.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care and transfer outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for critical care transfer.

Essential
- GMC registration
- Primary FRCA/MRCP or equivalent
- Completed stage 1 training in anaesthetics/ICM (or equivalent)
- Completed a transfer course and had clinical experience of inter-hospital transfers
Desirable
- Full FRCA / FICM
- Experience in cardiothoracic critical care
