Clinical Fellow in Retrieval Medicine with London Access

Job Overview
Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow in Retrieval Medicine to join our team in London. As a Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our transfer service, working closely with our clinical supervisors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe and efficient transfer of critically unwell patients across hospitals.
Main Duties of the Job
As a Clinical Fellow, you will be responsible for championing the safe and efficient transfer of critically unwell patients across hospitals. You will work closely with our clinical supervisors and multidisciplinary teams to streamline practices, education, transfer operations, and governance within a single service. You will also contribute to the repatriation of patients back to their local Intensive Care units across the country.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
- GMC Registration
- Primary FRCA/MRCP or equivalent
- Completed stage 1 training in anaesthetics/ICM (or equivalent)
- Completed a transfer course and had clinical experience of inter-hospital transfers
- ALS or equivalent
Research and Development

- Understanding and knowledge of research and ability to interpret research papers
