About the Role

ComputAppoint is seeking an experienced Senior Governance Risk and Compliance Professional to join our team as a GRC Analyst in the Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of Governance Risk and Compliance frameworks and policies.
  • Drive risk capture, analysis, and reporting to ensure effective risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand audit scope, controls, and findings, and oversee remediation efforts.
  • Conduct detailed auditing and documentation of security projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and report on information security to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage complex data sets and create detailed reports to inform business decisions.
  • Present and report to key stakeholders on risk management and compliance matters.
  • Assess technology risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.
Requirements
  • Professional background in Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Security Analysis.
  • Excellent understanding of NIST, ISO, and other major risk management frameworks.
  • Experience working in financial environments with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrable experience auditing and documenting complex information security projects.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies, such as the FCA and BoE, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of technology within a financial/trading environment.
